The Theoretical Test for a British driving licence consists of two parts: multiple choice and hazard perception test.

Multiple choice part

The multiple choice part is a multiple choice test with 50 questions. We mark the answers on the monitor screen from among the available ones (four in each question). Only one answer is correct for each question, some questions will be presented in the form of a case study scenario, in order to test your real thinking. Time is measured during the test - it is 57 minutes. You have to answer 43 questions correctly to pass the multiple choice part.

Hazard perception test part

Part of the hazard perception is testing the speed of a candidate's reaction to road events. The computer screen will display 14 short films - videoclips in which you have to react appropriately to the dangers on the road. The reaction is tested with clicking the mouse, the faster we click after noticing a dangerous situation, the more points we can get (the maximum number of points per hazard is 5). In one videoclip there will be two dangerous situations, in the others there will be one.
